![]() In Sony's High Definition Theater you'll enjoy a short screening of superior High Definition technology, a high-resolution video format. High Definition technology provides far greater picture resolution than standard television, so the images are sharper and remarkably clear. The theater is also equipped with surround sound. Screenings are repeated throughout the month. Youth under 18 years old should be accompanied by an adult. July & August: Galapogos Explore the beauty and biodiversity of the Galapagos Islands in this stunning visual display of the islands' flora and fauna. Produced by the National Geographic Channel. May: Bibi / Arrest Assured Undeniably entertaining and exceptionally creative, these two animated films come from the high definition film festival collaborative known as HD Fest. Presenting quality High Definition material, HD Fest is the world's only high definition film festival. Bibi, produced by Lola and Bek, tells the story of an adventurous little girl with a vivid imagination and a touch of mischief. Arrest Assured, produced by Rob Taylor, is the comical story of a simple-minded man who just can't seem to get enough sleep. After spotting a local jewelry store nearby, a not so-brilliant solution occurs to him. Running Time: 8 mins. June: Lemurs of Madagascar The ongoing changes to the landscape of Madagascar are a result of rampant deforestation and other human influences. These changes have radically affected the wildlife living there, including a very diverse native population of Lemurs. Learn what scientists are discovering about how these compelling creatures are adapting to the many changes in their habitat.
