With soaring ceilings and over 10,000 square feet of space conveniently located in midtown east, the Sony Plaza offers a grand setting in a very convenient location. The venue is ideal for a wide variety of special events, from intimate cocktail receptions, to elaborate sit-down dinners, to charity auctions and fashion shows. Past events include the Phat Farm Fashion Show, the PlayStation® 3 Launch Party, Big Brothers Big Sisters Summer Party and a Toys for Tots fundraiser.

The Sony Plaza additionally offers the following benefits:

  • Occupancy capacity of 1,050 persons.
  • In-house technical staff to assist with A/V needs.
  • Newly upgraded public address system including speakers and microphones.
  • Two in-house catering options (clients may elect to use their own caterer as well).

    • Solo, a Zagat rated, kosher, Mediterranean style restaurant; and
    • Restaurant Associates, a full service catering company with a vast range of food options and cuisines.
The Sony Plaza also provides direct access to the Sony Wonder Technology Lab (SWTL), a four story interactive technology and entertainment museum for all ages. In addition to exciting and innovative hands on exhibits, the Lab also houses a 73 seat High Definition Theater that may be rented separately or in conjunction with the Atrium space.
